Objectives
To enable management to understand
the business aspects of IS security issues.
To be effective, Information Assurance has to
be "top-driven". We have designed this
course to enable management decision makers to
understand the need for IS policies within their
organisations, what level of security is appropriate
taking into account the business mission, criticality
of operations and cost benefit aspects. The course
is not designed to develop IS security managers,
but to educate top management, and thus enable
them understand IS security and take informed
and appropriate decisions with relation to their
organisations.
