For today's enterprise, there are few issues
more pressing than Security. Constantly adapting and evolving,
Security today extends beyond the bounds of technology alone.
For individuals at the helm of this key function, it calls
for both, the mind of a strategist and the will to design
and perpetuate a culture of diligence.
SecureSynergy Security Strategist Awards were instituted to
recognise CIOs/CTOs/CSOs who have demonstrated outstanding
leadership in the area of information security. The Awards
highlight the criticality of Security and the need for Indian
enterprises to have a well-defined strategy for information
protection and are looked upon as a benchmark for Corporate
India to judge the effectiveness of their Security Strategies.
SecureSynergy Security Strategist Awards 2004 event took place
on 29 October 2004 at Hotel TransAsia, Colombo, Sri Lanka
and was attended by over 200 leading CIOs, vendors and media
entities.
These awards were given away by Capt. Felix Mohan - CEO, SecureSynergy
and Mr. Ashley Wearne - Area VP (Australia, New Zealand, South
East Asia & India), McAfee Singapore.
