The Project Manager will design
and develop maintainable software solutions for
SecureSynergy's advanced information security
products. Responsibilities include working closely
with a team of software and quality assurance
engineers to conceptualize, implement solutions,
contribute to schedules, and provide support to
projects of the organization.
This is a senior level professional software engineer
position focusing on the design, development and
maintenance of high-quality code for complex components
in a given product with an overall business objective
of producing high quality code according to a
given product's functional and design specifications.
Four or more years experience in design and development
of software, primarily on UNIX/Linux/Windows systems,
is required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
experience required. Must have strong technical
skills in a number of the following competencies:
Win32, Cisco IOS, PPTP, TCP/IP, ARP, ICMP, OSPF,
RIP, BGP, PAP, CHAP, RADIUS, IKE, IPSEC, SSL,
High Availability, Anti-Virus, IDS/IPS, and QoS,
Netware, TCP, UDP, IP, IPX, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS,
NetBIOS, shell scripting, Perl, C, Java, SSL,
PKI, IPSec, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Authentication,
various Security Tools, etc. Desirable experience
includes security protocols (SSL, TLS, IPSec,
PKI), defensive security programming (preventing
buffer overflows, privilege escalation, etc.).
Linux/Open Source development, and kernel development
- Highly desirable with embedded software development
experience with VxWork or Linux.
